Chamber for Advancement of Small and Medium Businesses (CASMB) has announced the appointment of Amod Ashok Salgaonkar as the Director. As a core team member, Salgaonkar will lead various development aspects of the chamber.
He is a seasoned management professional who has worked previously with organisations like Reliance Retail, Bharti-Walmart, METRO Cash & Carry India, HyperCITY Retail where he headed categories like seafood, meat, dairy & frozen foods. Salgaonkar is presently involved in food business with a focus on seafood through a startup besides having engagements at various national & international organisations.
He is a diversified industry professional wearing multiple hats in his endeavours with experience in buying & merchandising, strategy & negotiations, marketing, planning & development of the businesses in different verticals of food & especially seafood business.
Founded in 2020 during the height of COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber for Advancement of Small and Medium Businesses is focused on empowering the medium and small sized enterprises and entrepreneurs to achieve the next level success.
