Food scientist Dr Rege passes away

Dr. Yehwant Rege, a scientist and partner of  ’Dr Rege Labs‘ passed away after a prolonged illness on Thursday. He was 44. His final rites were held in Margao on Friday.
A resident of Borda, Margao, Dr Rege was a noted scientist in food and dairy technology. Dr. Rege has been a partner at “Dr. Rege labs” at Kundaim, Goa, since 1999.  The firm has been into manufacturing popular nutritional brands in India.
Rege’s expertise was in the exportation and promotion of dietary food supplement and other products. He was known to be a very jovial person.  

He is survived by his wife and two children. Rege was active in socio-cultural activities.
