In order to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing space of ‘natural’ consumer products, herbal goods major Dabur and Amazon has set up an online Ayurveda marketplace.

According to one of the statement, “The online store will sell ayurveda brands, while offering consumers valuable insights into the medicinal properties of ayurvedic products for treating various ailments.”

Dabur will take the lead on the content, while rival ayurveda brands listed with Amazon will be part of part of the marketplace.

Products by Himalaya and the Baba Ramdev-promoted Patanjali Ayurved would also feature on the web marketplace.

KK Chutani, executive director, Dabur said, “The company will get prime visibility with branding and banners on the e-store. Setting up an ayurveda marketplace further helps establish ourselves in this space and connect with millennial consumers.”
