Diageo appoints Lord Davies as senior independent Director

Ms Kilsby succeeds Lord Davies of Abersoch, who has served as the Senior Independent Director since October 2011

Diageo plc (the “Company”) is a global leader in beverage alcohol with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits and beer categories. The company has announced that Susan Kilsby, Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of the Board, has been appointed as the Senior Independent Director with effect from 31 October 2019.  

Ms Kilsby succeeds Lord Davies of Abersoch, who has served as the Senior Independent Director since October 2011.  Lord Davies will remain on the Board as Non-Executive Director until the conclusion of the 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Company.
