Shilpa has led Global and Regional Talent Management initiatives across countries
The Indian arm of British alcoholic beverage company Diageo has announced the appointment of Shilpa Vaid as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Shilpa was earlier serving as the Business Unit People Lead at Mondelēz India.
In this role, she is responsible for enabling sustainable business growth by building talent and organisational capabilities, delivering superior employee experience and an advantaged & inclusive culture.
Shilpa’s experience spans several sectors, many of which have been senior leadership roles, encompassing various functional areas of HR, across different industries: financial services, retail, e-commerce and FMCG. She has held senior leadership roles at MetLife, Bharti AXA General Insurance, Arvind, Prione (Amazon Catamaran JV) & its subsidiary, Cloudtail.
Shilpa has led Global and Regional Talent Management initiatives across countries, with specific focus on designing and deploying programmes for developing high-performance talent, leadership building and strengthening organisational capabilities for tangible business impact. She has also played a pivotal role in driving business through significant expansion & growth, restructuring and transformation, as well as preparing for listing on stock exchanges.
